How many months does it take to finish the flight dispatcher course?

The flight dispatcher initial training course typically takes between two to three months. However, the exact duration may vary depending on the student's availability and schedule.

What are the requirements to enroll in Waypoint?

Applicants seeking to enroll at Waypoint must submit the following documents:

  • A copy of their birth certificate

  • A copy of their college diploma

  • Transcript of Records (TOR)

  • A Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  • Proof of being at least 21 years of age

Can I enroll even if I am not a college graduate?

A college degree is not a requirement for PCAR. However, we are unable to accept undergraduate students, as the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) upholds stringent standards for the issuance of Flight Dispatcher licenses, in alignment with the high expectations of the aviation industry.
We deeply value your time, effort, and financial investment, and we are committed to ensuring that these are not expended in vain.

Currently serving as the Accountable Manager and Safety Manager for Waypoint Aviation Academy Inc., he holds ultimate responsibility for organizational compliance, safety standards, and operational integrity.His career is marked by high-stakes operational roles, including serving as a Flight Dispatcher for US based company and a Ground Operations Supervisor for the UAE Airforce Project. Throughout these tenures, he has mastered the complexities of mission-critical logistics, international permit acquisition, and vendor relations for VVIP and military operations.A graduate of PATTS College of Aeronautics and a CAAP-licensed Flight Dispatcher, Rustie combines deep technical expertise in flight planning and emergency response with a steadfast commitment to fostering a robust safety culture. As an industry enthusiast, he is dedicated to bridging the gap between theory and practice, providing future aviation professionals with invaluable, real-world insights derived from global flight operations

A licensed Private Pilot and Flight Dispatcher, he brings over a decade of industry experience and more than seven years as a College Instructor at PATTS College of Aeronautics, specializing in the training and development of future pilots and flight dispatchers.

Quality Manager

A dedicated Quality Manager, licensed Commercial & Flight Instructor Pilot who integrates extensive aviation expertise with professional operations management. His leadership in operational excellence is marked by his ability to negotiate contracts, monitor budget performance, and collaborate across departments to drive customer satisfaction.His career is rooted in a culture of safety, having served as a Flight Instructor at both Echo Air International Aviation Academy and One Horizon School of Aviation. In these roles, he was responsible for ensuring aircraft airworthiness through rigorous pre-flight inspections and maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and pilot operation standards. With a Bachelor of Science in Air Transportation from PATTS College of Aeronautics and specialized certifications in Flight Safety and Operation & Quality Management, he brings a high-level technical perspective to quality control and team development.
